Store Manager

Bunnies is a pre-loved designer consignment boutique offering a carefully curated collection of pre-loved and new designer fashion, bags, and accessories, previously operating in beautiful Arrowtown. We are now opening our first Auckland store in Ponsonby. We need a passionate, organised, and customer-focused Store Manager to work alongside the owner. You'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, from customer experience and sales, to consignment intake, stock management, and visual merchandising. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who loves fashion, has an eye for quality, and takes pride in running a smooth, welcoming shop. Please note this is an initial 6 month contract position. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily store operations and open/close procedures Deliver outstanding customer service and build client relationships Process consignment intake: authentication, pricing, and cataloguing designer items Manage stock levels, merchandising, and window displays Handle sales transactions and point-of-sale systems Support marketing efforts (social media, in-store promotions) Train, and manage any part-time or casual staff Monitor sales performance and report to the owner Maintain a clean, organised, and inviting store environment What We're Looking For Previous retail management experience (fashion or retail preferred) Knowledge of or genuine passion for designer fashion and accessories Strong customer service and communication skills Experience with POS systems and basic stock management Attention to detail especially around authentication and item condition and store presentation Reliable, self‑motivated, and comfortable working independently Available Tuesday to Saturday, 9:30am-5:00pm What We Offer Staff discount on store items A supportive, fun, fashion-loving work environment Opportunity to grow with a boutique brand Initial 6 month contract with the opportunity to move to a full time position at the end of that time Start date preferably mid-August #J-18808-Ljbffr
