Founded in 1905 as the Straits Settlements and Federated Malay States Government Medical School, NUS is the oldest higher education institution in Singapore Job Description The Department of Microbiology & Immunology, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, is seeking a Lab Technologist to support teaching, laboratory safety, core facility operations, and PI lab management. Key responsibilities Support laboratory practical classes and invigilation duties Prepare practical materials, assist with lab set-up and clean-up Support lab safety management, safety certification audits, inspections, and safety events Assist with daily operations, maintenance, and upkeep of laboratories and core facilities Maintain equipment inventory, basic equipment tracking, procurement, and vendor coordination Process financial documents, claims, and related administrative tasks Support PI lab operations, grant management, procurement, and equipment maintenance Qualifications Diploma in Life Science or equivalent 2-3 years of relevant working experience Knowledge of laboratory safety management will be an advantage Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint A good team player who can also work independently Strong communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
