Tauranga is nestled on the eastern side of New Zealand’s North Island, the Coastal Bay of Plenty region has stunning beaches, a vibrant city, charming towns, and an exciting array of activities and events, check out www.bayofplentynz.com The Role Located in Tauranga and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will lead their amazing team and be responsible for the successful management and performance of the Tauranga Branch. Your duties will include executing successful sales plans, providing effective leadership to an amazing team, working towards agreed targets and budgets while completing typical branch manager duties like marketing, customer and stakeholder relationship management, production and inventory and H&S and HR functions. You will have autonomy in the role and will have access to ongoing support from Group Support to tautoko you to become the best leader you can be. Skills and Experience To be successful in this role you will ideally have roofing, manufacturing or construction related experience, and as a leader, be able to nurture your team to grow and develop through effective management strategies. With your respectful and relatable nature, you will develop and maintain exceptional relationships with customer and stakeholders while utilising your business skills to successfully operate the business in this region’s competitive construction market. To be successful in this role you will need: Experience leading and nurturing staff Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge in health and safety practices and maintaining a culture of safety A good level of business skills and acumen including P&L analysis Competence completing reports and working to a deadline Knowledge of finances including reconciliation, debtors and creditors.
