Quality Compliance Officer

We're looking for a Quality Compliance Officer to strengthen the systems that help ensure we're operating safely, meeting our compliance obligations, and consistently delivering quality products to our customers. About the role Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a hands-on role for a highly organised and disciplined professional who enjoys working with systems, standards, documentation, and continuous improvement. You'll help ensure our Quality Management System remains effective, audit-ready, and aligned with the needs of a modern manufacturing business. You'll conduct audits, manage corrective actions, support accreditation activities, and work closely with operational teams to strengthen compliance and process discipline across the business. Success in this role comes from attention to detail, structured thinking, and the ability to identify issues early and follow them through to resolution. Key responsibilities Maintain and continuously improve our Quality Management System (ISO 9001) Conduct internal audits across quality, health & safety, and operational systems Manage non-conformance, corrective action, and investigation processes Maintain document control, compliance records, and audit readiness Support certification and accreditation activities, including future compliance initiatives Develop and maintain procedures, work instructions, and controlled documentation Deliver compliance training and support organisational understanding of quality requirements Participate in the Health & Safety Committee and support ongoing improvement of Health & Safety systems Identify compliance risks and improvement opportunities that strengthen business performance About you Experience working within an ISO 9001-certified or comparable management system environment Experience conducting internal audits and managing corrective actions Strong documentation, process control, and record management capability Comfortable working with standards, procedures, and compliance requirements Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail Able to analyse information, identify risks, and ensure disciplined follow-through Confident influencing others and holding teams accountable to agreed processes Strong written and verbal communication skills A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement Bonus points if you have AS9100 or other regulated quality system experience Manufacturing, aerospace, medical, defence, or engineering experience Experience supporting Health & Safety or Environmental management systems If you're the kind of person who enjoys creating order, improving systems, and making sure things are done properly, this is an opportunity to play a key role in a growing advanced manufacturing business. #J-18808-Ljbffr
