People & Culture Manager | Springbrook Foods | New Zealand | Full-time, Permanent Springbrook Foods is a growing New Zealand food manufacturer and we're looking for a People & Culture Manager who genuinely cares about people, takes performance seriously, and wants to help build something great. You'll own the full people function — from HR and performance management through to training, immigration compliance and culture — reporting directly to the Managing Director. WHAT YOU'LL OWN Leading and coordinating performance management across the business — guiding line managers through reviews, feedback conversations and formal improvement processes Driving The Springbrook Way values into day-to-day practice across all functions HR documentation, policies, employment agreements and personnel records Designing and delivering a company-wide training and employee development programme Recruitment and onboarding for manufacturing, operations and support roles Coordinating payroll administration alongside the Financial Controller Immigration compliance — AEWV accreditation, visa tracking and INZ employer obligations H&S coordination — supporting the H&S Manager and ensuring people are cared for through safety processes Culture and engagement initiatives that make Springbrook a great place to work YOUR 5 KPIs 100% of performance reviews completed on time across all functions 95%+ mandatory training completion; training framework documented and published by end of Year 1 100% HR document and immigration compliance — zero expired agreements or non-compliant visas 100% induction completion for every new starter before unsupervised work WHAT YOU'LL BRING 5+ years' HR experience, ideally in manufacturing, food production or an operational environment A proven track record leading performance management processes and coaching managers through difficult conversations Solid knowledge of NZ employment law — ERA, Holidays Act and the Health and Safety at Work Act Working knowledge of INZ employer obligations including AEWV accreditation Experience coordinating payroll and maintaining accurate people system data Strong written communication skills — able to produce clear, compliant HR documentation The ability to work independently across a broad and genuinely varied workload DESIRABLE Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG or primary production environments Experience designing and delivering training programmes or employee development frameworks Familiarity with NZ payroll software (e.g. PayHero, iPayroll, Smartly, MYOB) Experience managing AEWV accreditation in a previous role THE SPRINGBROOK WAY Humble: We're all ears, no matter who's talking.
