Join our Environmental Health team and play a key part in supporting the services that help protect public health, safety and community wellbeing across Tasman. About the job As an Administration Officer - Environmental Health, you'll be at the centre of our day-to-day administrative processes. You'll help keep work moving by coordinating information, scheduling technical staff, maintaining systems, supporting statutory processes, and liaising with internal teams, external agencies and members of the public. Duties include: Managing end-to-end administrative processes including applications, registrations, licensing and invoicing Coordinating service requests and scheduling technical staff to support timely field delivery Maintaining accurate records, databases, and electronic filing systems Supporting financial processes including fees, refunds, and debtor follow-ups Providing administrative support across Environmental Health functions, including statutory support where required Liaising with internal teams, external agencies, and members of the public About you This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in getting the details right, and is confident working within structured processes and deadlines. You'll bring strong administrative skills, a calm and organised approach, and the ability to manage competing priorities while supporting a busy regulatory team. You will be an experienced administrator with a commitment to customer service. You will be confident managing competing priorities, working both independently and collaboratively, and using sound judgement to solve problems and improve processes.
