Audio Visual Support & QA/Commissioning Engineer

Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking an AV Support & QA/Commissioning QA Engineer to join our team. This role is based in Rosedale, Auckland, New Zealand, and at customer sites across the region. Purpose As a Support & QA/Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering both offsite and onsite engineering and technical support to new and existing customers for the AV projects that we deliver in New Zealand. This involves the setup, configuration, testing, handover, and support of complex AV systems to ensure great customers solutions and outcomes. Role Accountabilities Perform customer support, troubleshooting, and remediation on a range of MTR & AV systems, remotely & onsite. Read and interpret Audio-Visual systems drawings and specifications. Install control programs and touch panel design onsite, offsite, and remotely in physical systems. Pre-Stage & Test integratedAudio-Visual systems and perform troubleshooting as needed at our QA Lab located on the North Shore, Auckland. Ensurethat systemsinstalled meetthe highestquality and performancelevels. Demonstrate and train customers on installed systems. Assistmanufacturers and customers with problem resolution as needed. Travel to various job sites throughout New Zealand andprovidesupport asrequired. Provide guidance to the AV installations teams as needed. Ensure a strong focus on customer satisfaction and the efficient delivery of services. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Minimum 3 years’ experience working with a commercial audio-visual integrator in a support or commissioning role. Fantastic communication & interpersonal skills; confidence in dealing with others. Understanding of Audio-Visual systems and programming languages. Proficient in uploading and downloading software in embedded systems.UnderstandDSPbest practices and setup/troubleshooting. Ability to diagnose and test complex system problems. Understanding of Microsoft Teams Room and associated systems. (Cisco, HP-Poly, Logi, Yealink, Neat, etc) Understanding of computer networking and troubleshootingpertaining toAudio-Visual and video conferencing.
