Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Trade Qualified Heavy Diesel Technician to join our modern Invercargill workshop. About the Role Reporting to the Service Manager, your responsibilities will include: Carrying out all aspects of servicing, maintenance, warranty, diagnostics and repairs across a range of heavy diesel vehicles. Carrying out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance Trouble shoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems Delivering efficient, high-quality workmanship and customer service Liaising with technical support teams and workshop staff Assisting with the development and mentoring of apprentice and junior technicians Participating in an on-call roster (approximately one week per month) What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you will have: A recognised trade qualification in Heavy Automotive or Diesel Mechanics Experience working on heavy transport vehicles and equipment Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities A minimum Class 2 driver's licence Excellent communication and teamwork skills A positive attitude and strong work ethic A commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction Applicants must be a New Zealand Citizen, Resident, or hold a valid New Zealand work visa.
