Production Team Leader- Night Shift

Source & Supply Food Co – Auckland, North Island We are looking for an experienced Production Team Leader- Night Shift to join our thriving Production Team at Source & Supply Food Co. in Penrose, Auckland. As the Production Team Leader , you will be responsible for overseeing a team of Production Operators, ensuring the efficient and high-quality manufacturing of our food products. This role offers a minimum of 30 hours per week. What you'll be doing Lead and motivate a team of Production Operators to achieve daily production targets and quality standards Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production line, monitoring workflow and addressing any issues that arise Actively performs work in the production line and provide hands-on support and guidance to the team, training and upskilling employees as needed Implement lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement and eliminate waste Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations Collaborate with other departments to optimise production processes and resolve cross-functional challenges Monitor and report on key performance metrics to the Production Manager What we're looking for Proven experience in a production and team supervision, with at least five (5) years’ experience in meat processing industry Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tools Problem-solving mindset and the ability to think critically to optimise processes Passion for ensuring quality and compliance in a regulated environment What we offer Our competitive benefits package includes a generous annual leaves, and discounts on our range of food products.
