Bishop Associates Recruitment – Christchurch, South Island Full time, Permanent 14d ago , from Bishop Associates Recruitment Finance Associate — Fixed Term (Immediate Start) – Christchurch Bishop is excited to be working with a well-known organisation that is seeking a capable Finance Associate to join their small finance team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a busy environment, and likes being part of a friendly, close-knit office. The role is primarily focused on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable across multiple entities, including processing invoices, managing supplier and customer accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions. There is also scope to assist with bank and credit card reconciliations, finance administration, and general support across the finance function. This is a hands-on role where accuracy, initiative, and attention to detail are highly valued. We're looking for someone with strong attention to detail, confidence using Xero and Excel, and the ability to quickly understand and adapt to established processes. Previous experience in AP and AR is essential. The team has a relaxed, down-to-earth culture and would love to welcome someone who enjoys a bit of laughter during the day, asks good questions, and remains calm under pressure. The position is fully site-based, particularly during onboarding and training, and security and police clearances will be required. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible.
