Ramada Hotels – Wellington Central, North Island Housekeeping Manager– Full Time Join Marsden Services Limited at Ramada Wellington and The Viv Hotel About the Role We are looking for a full-time Housekeeping Manager to join our Wellington team. In this role, you will oversee the cleaning operations for rooms and public areas for two properties, Ramada Wellington and The Viv Hotel, ensuring schedules and productivity targets are met. You’ll also be responsible for the health and safety of your team, as well as administrative tasks such as rostering and timesheets. You’ll confidently address guest needs and resolve any issues that arise. Working closely with internal departments, including maintenance, you’ll ensure the hotels are performing and looking their best. The two properties that this role oversees are: The Viv Hotel - 25 Vivian Street, Te Aro What We’re Looking For At least 2 years of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager in the hotel industry, with a focus on leadership and career growth. A natural leader who can guide the team through the demands of a busy department. An approachable and collaborative leadership style that motivates and engages those around you. Attention to detail to ensure guests are exceptionally satisfied. Flexibility to work shifts on a 7-day roster. Key Requirements Minimum of 3 years housekeeping experience, including 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role in a hotel or lodge. Knowledge of hotel room cleaning processes, linen control, ordering, room amenities, housekeeping storeroom and equipment management. Ability to lead by example, motivate, and train the team to achieve excellent results. Experience in rostering and managing personnel needs within the housekeeping department. Ability to handle guest complaints and feedback promptly and efficiently. Collaboration with the front office to ensure guest expectations are met and, where possible, exceeded. Ensure rooms are ready for guest check-in by 2pm and conduct inventory checks to maintain adequate supplies. What We Offer Excellent working environment with a central location.
