Marketing Manager (12 months Maternity Cover) Working In has been helping skilled people move to New Zealand and Australia for over 25 years. With multiple revenue streams we cater to various audiences from skilled people to International Interns & Students, health professionals, employers and more. From their first interaction with us, we guide them through a structured journey. Starting with a free appraisal, through to a paid assessment and sign-up, they receive job support, visa processing and relocation guidance, all managed by our in-house team and trusted partners. It is a complete, end-to-end service, and this role sits right at the front of that journey. About the role A12-month, full time, fixed maternity cover with the potential for ongoing work. The role is based at our Ponsonby office with one day from home to be negotiated. It is an intermediate-senior end-to-end B2C marketing role with ownership of the entire customer acquisition and early lifecycle journey. While lead generation is a key focus, success also comes from improving lead quality, nurturing prospective customers, increasing conversion and continually refining the customer journey through close collaboration with sales. You will be responsible for running marketing initiatives that attract, nurture and convert prospective leads for our B2C business unit. These are skilled individuals fromthe UK, USA and beyond, looking to experience life in NZ and AUand move (often with their family) to a new life. Working closely with our Head of marketing, Digital Marketing Manager, Recruitment Specialists, LicensedImmigration Advisers, Data, Web team and design contractors, you will drive and manage key acquisition channels including paid campaigns, database emails, website, social and events, with a strong focus on performance, conversion and continuous improvement. It is a collaborative environment where marketing plays a direct role in business outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding customer behaviour as much as creating campaigns. You'll be equally comfortable analysing where people engage or drop out of the journey, refining audience personas, working alongside the sales team to improve lead quality and building marketing programmes that continually improve business results. What you will be doing Planning and delivering marketing campaigns focused on lead generation and conversion Working with digital marketingspecialist to refine targeting and improve results Understanding the numbers behind performance and what is required to meet lead targets Collaborating with sales to understand opportunities, constraints and conversion drivers Working closely with the sales team to establish an ongoing feedback loop, using insights from consultations and conversions to continually improve marketing performance Managing and optimising the customer lifecycle from first enquiry through to handover, identifying opportunities to improve engagement, nurture and conversion at every stage Developing and refining audience personas and customer segments to ensure campaigns, messaging and content are relevant to each audience Working with the business unit leaderon strategy and performance improvement Creating regular news and update emails for segmented audiences Managing and improving website and landing pages to increase conversion (not back end) Planning and delivering events, seminars and webinars as key lead generation channels Working with writers and designersto shape content that attracts and converts the right audience Managing relationships with external lead partners Driving and overseeing client-facing material across the journey Supporting wider business collateral where needed What you will bring At least 5 years proven experience in B2C marketing, ideally in a performance-driven environment. Strong understanding of lead generation, conversion and campaign performance. Experience in customer lifecycle, CRM or relationship marketing with a strong understanding of lead nurturing and customer journeys. Experience working closely with sales teams and using customer feedback to improve marketing performance. Strong understanding of audience segmentation, buyer personas and targeted communications. Commercial thinking with the ability to balance lead volume with lead quality and conversion outcomes. Experience working across multiple channels including email, web and paid media. Ability to interpret data and translate it into practical actions. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Confidence working cross-functionally with sales, operations and technical teams. Clear and effective written and verbal communication. A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and solve problems. What success looks like Lead and conversion targets are consistently achieved. Marketing and sales operate as one team with a strong feedback loop. Customer journeys are continually refined to improve engagement and conversion. Audience segmentation and messaging become increasingly targeted and effective. Clear reporting identifies opportunities, trends and areas for improvement.
