Cowdroy Products Limited – East Tamaki, North Island Cowdroy Products is a leading manufacturer of quality cavity sliding door systems and architectural door hardware. We're looking for a motivated and reliable Cavity Fabricator to join our Cavity production department and help produce our cavity slider systems. Cavity Fabricator Cowdroy Products Ltd | Auckland About the Role This is a hands-on manufacturing position responsible for the assembly and finishing of cavity sliding door systems. You'll work from technical drawings, cut lists, and production specifications to build high-quality products that meet our customers' requirements. Key Responsibilities Assemble custom cavity slider units per drawings and specifications. Measure, cut, and fit components accurately. Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met. Safely operate workshop equipment including saws, drills, and pneumatic tools. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Identify and report quality or production issues. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the factory. Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies. What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work. Ability to read and interpret drawings, cut lists, and production documentation. Basic joinery, cabinetry, woodworking, or manufacturing experience. Confident using hand and power tools. Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Preferred Experience Previous experience in joinery, woodworking, furniture manufacturing, or assembly work. Understanding workshop safety practices and procedures. Experience operating common woodworking machinery and equipment. Physical Requirements Able to stand for extended periods. Comfortable performing repetitive assembly tasks.
