Cherwell, ITIL, ITSM, System Administration, IIS, SQL , PowerShell, Active Directory, REST APIs 10-Months Contract, Wellington based , Active Confidential Clearance Required ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a skilled Cherwell Platform Administrator to provide ongoing operational support, maintenance, and stability for a critical Cherwell ITSM application layer. Joining a large-scale, structured organisation, you will oversee day-to-day configuration, incident resolution, and process support to ensure optimal platform performance. This contract position offers an exceptional opportunity to manage an established Cherwell ecosystem while driving best-practice ITSM delivery. Working alongside product owners, you will handle everything from blueprint releases and automated workflows to role-based access control and underlying web service components. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage daily administration, maintenance, and stability of the Cherwell ITSM application layer. Configure One-Steps, Dashboards, Blueprints, mApps, and automated scheduler processes. Support application services including Cherwell Message Queue (MQS) and IIS web application components. Resolve incidents across application, database, and integration boundaries in collaboration with product owners. Maintain role-based access controls, security configurations, and audit compliance requirements. Provide continuous fault diagnosis, service monitoring, and operational reporting for the platform. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Active Confidential Security Clearance is strictly required for this position. Proven commercial experience administering, configuring, and maintaining the Cherwell ITSM platform. Hands-on knowledge of underlying Cherwell application services, MQS, and IIS server components. Demonstrated practical understanding of ITIL-aligned processes within a Cherwell ecosystem. Proficiency with email monitoring setup, mail listeners, and role-based security configurations.
