Job Description

Celebrations Group also has an exhibitions and experiences brand called standout that creates exhibition stands and interactive installations around the country. We are looking for an organised, tidy and enthusiastic Installer to join our team. You’ll be working with high-end clients nationally, in a great team environment, with job variety and a chance to be involved in some exciting projects and installations. Installing an exhibition at the NZICC, rigging lighting installations and installing giant Christmas trees, are all part of the day to day for this role. Based at our Rosebank office and warehouses, we need an Installer who can also keep our warehouses tidy and organised, so we’re ready to go for the next event or exhibition. You might be interested in exhibitions or events or had some exposure to production, technical, rigging, lighting and installation work. With an eye for detail, practical thinking skills and some problem‑solving ability, you’ll be able to handle any situation. Deliveries, loading trucks, out on site, forklifting pallets, unloading vehicles and tidying as we go, are all part of the day to day too. You’ll have good communication skills that will enable you to communicate effectively with the team and in greeting clients on site. Our main Christmas installation season between October and January will require you to have work hours flexibility, as many installations involve night‑work and weekends as and when required. Our ideal person: Has previous installation experience in events or exhibitions Is hands on, keen to get stuck in and give it all a go. Is practical and has experience with power tools. Is reliable and professional Has a full driver’s licence. HT License preferred, or willing to learn. Has experience with forklifts and be certified. Must be comfortable working at height (EWP Certification preferred, but provided). Be physically fit.
