Heavy Steel Fabricator

JP Marshall & Co Limited – Hamilton, North Island We’re looking for experienced, qualified [Heavy Fab Level 4] Fabricator Welders or boilermakers to join our team. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality fabrication and welding work across a multitude of disciplines and industries. A small example as below: Conveyors/Augers Bins/hoppers Tanks Structures Site/Install Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Fabricate, fit, and weld steel components using GMAW, FCAW, MMAW and TIG Cut, shape, and clean metal using hand and power tools Set up and calibrate welding equipment to statutory weld procedures Operate gantry cranes, forklifts, and lifting equipment safely Construct jigs and fixtures for welding and assemblyPerform post-weld treatments (grinding, cleaning etc.) Maintain tools and equipment Enthusiastically collaborate with clients, team members and others to meet project goals Follow all health and safety policies What You’ll Bring: Minimum 3 years’ experience in fabrication and welding Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship Good communication skills and a “get it done” attitude Commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork About Us: JP Marshall Engineering is a long-established, family-owned business based in Hamilton with over 70 years of experience in heavy steel engineering.
