We're looking for a Systems Engineer who thrives on solving real technical problems and building lasting client relationships. About the role You’ll report to the Team Leader and provide technical support and manage client infrastructure across our client base, handling everything from user support to infrastructure design. What you’ll be doing? Provide Level 1, 2, and some Level 3 technical support - designing and implementing infrastructure solutions for clients Manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and cloud infrastructure Install, configure, test, and maintain IT services, including backup, security, hosting, and system management tools Assess client requirements, prepare quotes, and present solutions that align with their business needs Handle ongoing support requests via calls and emails - prioritising based on SLA and impact Maintain client documentation and infrastructure records in CRM Identify new service opportunities and contribute to business growth through proactive client engagement Who we are looking for? Core skills and experience: At least 3 years working in IT, with a strong infrastructure focus Advanced skills with the latest Windows Desktop operating systems Intermediate skills with the latest Windows Server environments Proven hands‑on experience implementing and supporting Windows Infrastructure Proven experience with Active Directory and Group Policy design and management Practical experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, and Autopilot Demonstrated ability to identify and devise client solutions at a high level Proven track record with high-level implementation and advanced issue resolution Excellent client-facing communication - you can explain complex technical concepts and build confidence Strong record of accuracy and attention to detail across all work Current, valid NZ driver’s license Qualifications Level 5 or above qualification in Computing, or equivalent work experience You’ll work with a collaborative team where your technical skills are valued.
