About the Role Reporting to the Electrical Team Leader , you'll play a vital role in maintaining production efficiency and ensuring a safe, compliant manufacturing environment. Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out preventative maintenance and first-line servicing of PLCs, electronic systems, and production machinery. Diagnosing faults and completing electrical breakdown repairs using diagnostic software. Assisting with plant modifications, equipment upgrades, and new installations. Maintaining accurate maintenance records through the online maintenance management system. Coordinating with the Maintenance Purchasing Officer to source required parts and equipment. Calibrating electrical equipment and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and quality systems. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing site. Participating in the electrical callout roster to support the site's 24/7 manufacturing operation. Promoting a strong health and safety culture through hazard identification, reporting, participation in safety initiatives, and adherence to company procedures. Hours of Work Monday to Friday 7:00 am – 3:00 pm Participation in the on-call roster is required. About You To be successful in this role, you'll have: A recognised electrical trade qualification. Current New Zealand Electrical Registration and Practising Licence. Strong experience with PLC and electronic control systems, preferably Omron and Siemens . Solid industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience. Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills. A proactive, reliable, and self-motivated approach. A strong commitment to workplace health and safety. The ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across all levels of the business.
