About the job opportunity Our client is a leading independent importer and distributor of tractors and agricultural equipment, with a proud history spanning multiple generations. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their team at their Hawkes Baybranch. Working within a modern workshop, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of tractors and agricultural machinery. Key Responsibilities Diagnose faults on tractors and agricultural machinery. Carry out servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Complete mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs. Maintain accurate service records and job documentation. Work collaboratively with the wider workshop team. Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard. Deliver excellent customer service and technical support when required. Benefits $42-$46 per hour depending on experience. Time and a half paid after 45 hours worked. Weekly tool allowance. Agricultural machinery or tractor experience highly regarded. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Good communication and organisational skills.
