About the role We are currently seeking a trainer skilled and experienced in any of the following: Working at Heights, Confined Space, Crane, MEWP and/or Transport. This role involves regular travel throughout the South Island, delivering high-quality training to a wide range of learners. Alongside a strong industry background and technical knowledge, you will ideally have experience in training. If you are passionate about imparting knowledge, and enjoy mentoring the next generation of professionals, we want to hear from you. Key responsibilities Deliver and assess high quality industrial safety training in line with organisation and regulatory requirements. Maintain subject matter competency and stay current with legislation, standards and industry best practice Complete training administration accurately and on time. Build positive relationships with clients, learners and internal teams. Who we’re looking for: Experience in high-risk industries eg infrastructure, energy, transport, rural, emergency services. Unit standard 4098 or equivalent (however training can be provided to the right candidate) Experience in training or coaching adults. A team player who is willing to get stuck in and help the business deliver its ambitions.
