Associate - Litigation

Ready for a global career without limits? We are looking for an associate (4+ PQE) to join our Litigation & Regulatory team at DLA Piper New Zealand. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex commercial disputes, regulatory investigations and high-value litigation matters for a mix of leading local and international clients. You will have exposure to work across financial services, regulatory risk, sustainability and ESG-related issues. About the Team Joining our Litigation & Regulatory team will give you the opportunity to work closely with market-leading litigators on complex disputes, regulatory investigations and emerging risk issues. We encourage lawyers to take ownership, build strong client relationships and develop their advocacy and commercial skills in a collaborative, high-performing environment About You We are looking for: An ambitious and commercially minded lawyer with 4+ years' PQE. Commercial litigation experience gained at a top tier firm - either in New Zealand or overseas. Strong technical legal skills, including analytical thinking, legal research and drafting and problem-solving skills. A great communicator and collaborative team player who enjoys mentoring junior lawyers. Experience in sustainability and sustainability reporting would be advantageous.
