RobLawMax Recruitment – Wellington Central, North Island An opportunity exists for an experienced Project Manager to join a major infrastructure project within the Wellington region. We are seeking a proven civil infrastructure professional with strong New Zealand project delivery experience and specialist expertise in granular pavements, asphalt surfacing and asphalt concrete construction. This role will suit a commercially astute leader who thrives in complex project environments and enjoys managing multiple stakeholders while driving successful project outcomes. About the Role You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of major civil infrastructure works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and within budget. Key responsibilities include: Leading projects from tender stage through to completion Supporting pricing and tender submissions Managing project financial performance, forecasting and reporting Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and plant resources Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships Managing contract administration, variations, RFIs and invoicing Driving safety, quality and environmental performance across all project activities Identifying, managing and mitigating project risks Planning workforce and resource requirements Improving project delivery methodologies and productivity outcomes About You: To be successful in this role, you will bring: Strong technical expertise in granular pavements, pavement construction and asphalt concrete works Demonstrated experience managing complex transport, roading or infrastructure projects Excellent working knowledge of NZS3910 and the Construction Contracts Act Strong commercial and financial management capability Proven leadership experience developing and motivating project teams Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills Current New Zealand working rights What's on Offer: The midpoint of the salary band for this role sits at $170k pa Vehicle Supportive managers and hard working team Long-term project pipeline and career stability Opportunity to work on a landmark infrastructure programme If you have a strong background in New Zealand civil infrastructure, particularly in pavement and asphalt delivery OR drainage, and are looking for your next major project challenge, we would like to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
