We have a Permanent Part Time Weekend position available, offering 16 hours per week . You will work 8-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays , with shifts scheduled between 7:30am and 5:30pm . As a Cook, you will prepare and serve nutritious, high-quality meals that cater to the dietary needs of residents while maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, high-quality meals that cater to the dietary needs of our residents, while maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards. Working as part of a supportive team, you'll help create positive dining experiences and contribute to the overall wellbeing of those we serve. Prepare, cook, and present meals to a high standard, including portioning and plating. Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety, including cleaning and waste management. Receive, store, and rotate kitchen supplies to ensure freshness and reduce waste. Support menu planning to meet dietary and cultural needs of residents. Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive kitchen environment. Previous experience cooking in a similar environment, ideally in aged care or healthcare. Able to work under pressure with a positive, professional attitude. A team player who can also work independently with a flexible approach. Physically fit, reliable, and committed to high hygiene standards. Good communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent service.
