Free on-site carparking Mō tēnei mahi | About this job RoleType : Permanent; full time Location : Porirua Hours : 37.5 per week Days : Monday – Friday Salary: $72,490 - $90,613 The Specialist – Quality & Training provides high‑leveloperational support to National Tauira Services and functional support toTauira Services teams across the motu. The role strengthens service quality,builds kaimahi capability, and ensures teams are equipped with accurate, up‑to‑dateinformation, resources, and best‑practice tools. In this role, you will: Quality assurance - Coordinate and undertakespot checks and critical audits, analyse findings, and recommend improvementsto strengthen tauira services. Service feedback systems - Develop and monitorfeedback processes that support kaimahi to deliver high‑quality, best‑practiceservices. Performance reporting - Produce reports onquality, performance and operational trends. Training and capability - Work with takiwāleadership to train Tauira Services Advisors.Produce and maintain a national training calendar and ensure qualityresources are provided to support this plain. Digital proficiency support - Support kaimahi toconfidently use online platforms and digital tools that enhance serviceconsistency and effectiveness. Relationship leadership - Lead strong internalrelationships and collaborate with external stakeholders to develop tools thatenhance tauira success, while upholding Ngā Uara, modelling integrity, andcomplying with health, safety, and wellness procedures. We are looking for someone who has the following: Bachelor Degree in Quality Assurance/Managementor similar field Certificate in Adult Teaching or relatedqualification 4+ years’ experience in quality assurance oraudit roles 4+ years’ experience in training or teachingroles 4+ years’ experience creating training gapanalysis, content and delivery Proven experience working and supporting diverseclient groups Strong data analysis, reporting, planning,facilitation, and relationship‑management skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness toparticipate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of ĀhuatangaMāori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
