Join Our Team – Make a Difference in Your Community Upper Hutt Health Centre is a We are a Cornerstone accredited integrated family health centre caring for an enrolled population of 17,000 patients, providing a wide range of services, including acute services, minor operations and nurse-led clinics. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated permanent General Practitioner (GP) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our friendly, patient-centred primary care team. About the Role Provide high-quality, evidence-based primary healthcare to patients of all ages. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions. Promote preventative health and wellbeing through patient education and health promotion. Develop and implement individualised care plans. Collaborate with nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff to deliver coordinated care. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing professional development. About You Current registration and practising certificate in New Zealand. Vocational registration as a General Practitioner with the Medical Council of New Zealand, or registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the Nursing Council of New Zealand. Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to delivering culturally safe, equitable, and patient-centred care.
