Veterinary Nurse - South Waikato Vet Services (Tokoroa) Join a fun, friendly, and supportive team in our purpose-built clinic in the charming town of Tokoroa. We're privately owned, community-focused, and proud of our work-hard-play-hard vibe. About us Mixed-practice clinic with 12 vets, 7 vet techs/nurses, 3 receptionists, and 1 very important clinic cat. Small animal team: 2-3 vets and 5 nurses. Patients: Cats and dogs through to lambs, rabbits, and chickens. Culture: Supportive environment, Friday beverages after a busy week, and legendary Christmas parties. The role You'll rotate across: Surgery: Prep, monitoring, recovery, and after care. Consult support: Assisting vets in consults and client education. Hospital care: Nursing and monitoring inpatients. Nurse consults: Weight checks, post-op checks, nail clips, parasite control, and more. Plus, kitten cuddles with the many litters we re-home. What we're looking for Relevant veterinary nursing qualification. Previous Clinic experience. Enthusiastic about patient care and client education. Positive, can-do attitude and a team player. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Hours and location Full-time or part time considered. Rostered Saturdays: 1 in 6, 9:00am-12:00pm. Limited after-hours.
