Kate Edger Foundation empowers and inspires women through funding education; providing financial assistance AND offering confidence and acknowledgement that the awardees have made the best choice, that we believe in them helps them all reach their goals. Our impact - funded over 1,600 awardees, more that $8.4million in 20 years. Named after Kate Edger, a trailblazer who was the first woman to graduate in 1877, the first principal of Nelson School for Girls, a great supporter of women getting the vote, a woman way ahead of her time. Funded by a social enterprise, The Graduation Place (hiring and selling of graduation and legal attire) and special sponsors (corporate, trusts, families), we are currently growing, also streamlining our processes in the Awards Programme. The role of Awards Coordinator is integral in this special programme, promoting the awards and scholarships, receiving and processing the applications, organising selection panelists, building relationships with the applicants, universities, institutes, sponsors and partners. Overall the role is to co-ordinate effectively and efficiently all designated activities associated with KEF’s Awards Programme. Key Skills and Attributes preferred: Customer service orientated personality Office / admin / social media experience preferred Strong computer and database skills and experience Excellent interpersonal skills, at all levels, building effective professional working relationships Ability to meet deadlines An eye for detail Able to cope with extremely busy times #J-18808-Ljbffr
