Geneva Finance is looking for an experienced Application Support / Software Developer to join our Auckland‑based team. This is a varied role where you'll work across software development, application support, reporting, troubleshooting, integrations, and system enhancements in a dynamic financial services environment. What You'll Be Doing You'll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our core business systems, with a particular focus on finPOWER Connect , while contributing to wider IT initiatives across the organisation. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting and troubleshooting business‑critical applications Developing and enhancing software solutions to meet business needs Writing and maintaining code using Visual Basic, SQL, and C# Developing and supporting web‑based applications Building insightful Power BI dashboards and reports Testing system changes, upgrades, and integrations Supporting finPOWER Connect configuration, upgrades, and ongoing optimisation Working with vendors and third‑party providers to resolve technical issues Documenting processes, procedures, and technical solutions & identifying opportunities for automation and operational efficiencies Supporting cyber security and infrastructure improvement projects What We're Looking For Strong skills in Visual Basic, SQL, and C# Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities Strong documentation and communication skills A practical, solutions‑focused mindset Highly Regarded Experience with finPOWER Connect Power BI reporting and dashboard development Experience supporting business‑critical applications in a commercial environment Why Join Geneva Finance?
