Trust and Grants Fundraiser

Maximise and grow Barnardos Aotearoa's fundraised income from trusts and foundations across Aotearoa to support our mahi. Lead the development and execution of our trusts and foundations programme, ensuring applications are compelling, timely, and aligned with Barnardos’ strategic goals. You will also manage reporting and audit requirements, maintain accurate records in our CRM system, and build strong relationships with funders and both internal and external stakeholders. This role is a full-time (40 hours) opportunity based in Wellington or Christchurch. Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new funding opportunities aligned with Barnardos’ kaupapa. Develop a strategy that aims to maintain this critical revenue stream for Barnardos. Prepare and submit high-quality applications with compelling cases for support. Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial and service information. Be a point of contact for all donors Ensure a donor centric approach is followed Ensure timely reporting and fulfilment of accountability requirements.
