We’re looking for a Café Supervisor who’s passionate about great service, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to lead a team with confidence and care. What You’ll Be Doing As Café Supervisor, you’ll be the go-to person for day-to-day operations—supporting the Business Manager and leading the Food & Beverage team to ensure smooth service, high standards, and happy guests. Your role will include: Leading the team in daily café operations and customer service. Maintaining top hygiene and food safety standards. Supporting food prep, cooking, and menu development. Managing stock ordering, rotation, and monthly stocktake. Handling POS systems, cash reconciliation, and till setup. Assisting with rostering, admin tasks, and SOP updates. Driving sustainability initiatives and health & safety practices. Collaborating across Waitomo attractions and supporting other sites when needed. What We’re Looking For You’ll bring: Proven experience in busy hospitality environments. Strong food handling and barista skills. Excellent communication and leadership qualities. High attention to detail and a calm approach under pressure. A strong work ethic and reliable attendance. Confidence using POS systems and general IT tools.
