Installation & Design Technician

Technical Installation & Design Assistant Condensation Control Ltd is one of New Zealand's leading residential ventilation specialists. Due to continued growth, we're looking for a motivated, practical person to join our team. This is a unique role that combines hands-on installation work with office-based technical design and administration. You'll work alongside experienced staff, learning how to design, quote and install residential ventilation and heat recovery systems. No two days are the same. One day you may be helping install a ventilation system on-site, and the next you'll be in the office preparing system designs, learning our software, or assisting customers. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with the installation of residential ventilation and heat recovery systems Learning to design ventilation systems and prepare quotations Preparing system layouts and documentation Using Excel, Plandroid and other computer software Assisting with technical support and customer enquiries Helping maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service We're looking for someone who: Is confident using computers and enjoys learning new software Is practical, hands-on and comfortable using tools Has excellent attention to detail Is organised and willing to learn Can work independently and as part of a team Holds a full NZ driver's licence Experience in ventilation, HVAC, electrical, construction or building services is an advantage, training will be provided.
