Deliver high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services, provide exceptional patient care, and contribute to a collaborative clinical team. He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role We are seeking applications for a Sonographer in Christchurch. In this position you will provide high-quality ultrasound imaging services to patients and referrers while contributing to a supportive and collaborative clinical team. This is a part time (35 hours per week) position, fixed-term until July 2027. The successful candidate will: Undertake and interpret ultrasound examinations independently and produce clinical reports. Deliver outstanding patient care through clear communication, professionalism, and clinical excellence. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support student sonographer training when required. Ngā pūkenga e rapu nei mātou | About you Professionally recognised ultrasound qualification and current MRTB Annual Practising Certificate. Experience in musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound would be advantageous but is not essential. Proven excellence in patient care and strong interpersonal skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork. Commitment to continuous professional development and ongoing medical education.
