Locum- Operating theatre Registered Nurse - Hawke's Bay Private Hospital $60 per hour + Accommodation + Flights or Travel exp provided for out of region nurses Are you an experienced NZ based Theatre Registered Nurse looking for a flexible locum opportunity in one of New Zealand's most beautiful regions? We are seeking an experienced theatre to support one of Hawke's Bay's leading private hospitals for initially a 2-week assignment late July and then more work in August. This could suit a great theatre RN who has been having a break, or you might even be working FT now and can consider taking some annual leave to work some of these weeks for an extra cash boost to your income. A change is as good as a holiday as they say !! and the weather sure is brighter in sunny Hawke's Bay !! Competitive hourly rates + penal rates Flights/Travel and accommodation provided if out of region * Flexible locum theatre shifts Opportunity to work within Hawke's Bay's leading private hospital Supportive multidisciplinary theatre team Great work-life balance and variety Short-term assignment with potential extension The Role Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in perioperative and surgical settings NZ Registered RN Ideally min of 3 + years NZ based experience Work collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold best practice standards About You Full legal right to work in New Zealand Reg RN based in NZ with current NZ Nursing Council APC Relevant bachelors degree or Hospital based training Demonstrated nursing experience in an operating theatre environment Knowledge of the best practice relevant nursing standards of care Committed to continuous quality improvement and personal development Availability to travel and stay in Hawke's Bay for the duration of the assignment if based outside of the region (Please note: No overseas candidates as visa sponsorship is NOT available) Why Join The People Society?
