About the Role If you enjoy the pace and variety of acute physiotherapy, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day. Based primarily within the inpatient medical service at Tauranga Hospital, you'll work alongside experienced Allied Health and multidisciplinary teams, supporting patients with acute and complex conditions. Mentoring, clinical supervision, and ongoing professional development are part of everyday practice, helping you continue to grow your clinical expertise. About the Team/Service/Location Our wonderful Physiotherapy team at Tauranga Hospital works closely with the wider Allied Health services, providing care in an interdisciplinary model that puts patients at the centre. Whether in acute wards, outpatient clinics, or the community, our goal is to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care that meets the needs of our diverse Bay of Plenty population. About You You enjoy the challenge and variety of acute hospital practice and bring a collaborative, patient-centred approach to your work. Motivated to learn and committed to delivering excellent care, you value being part of a team that supports one another to achieve the best outcomes. What you will bring: Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate Significant post-registration experience within an acute hospital setting Experience managing acute and complex clinical presentations Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development Working for Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
