Production Operator

Hemp Connect is a small, busy hemp food processing company in Levin, and we're looking for a hands‑on Production Operator to join our team. This is a full‑time role focused primarily on production—processing hemp seed, packaging products, and keeping things running smoothly. We're looking for someone who's mechanically minded and happy to roll up their sleeves when something needs fixing or fine-tuning. If you're the type who notices when something's not quite right and takes the initiative to sort it out, you'll fit right in. What you'll be doing: Processing and packaging hemp food products Operating and maintaining production machinery Moving product around the factory (forklift licence required) Keeping the factory clean, safe, and operating to food safety standards What we're looking for: A practical, reliable, and physically fit team player (up to 25kg lifting) A current forklift licence (essential) A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn Mechanical aptitude and the ability to problem solve Experience in food processing, manufacturing, or maintenance is an advantage, but we're more interested in finding someone with the right attitude and a willingness to get stuck in. This is a full‑time position, and weekend work is a required part of the roster.
