Timber Machinist

Pan Pac Forest Products – Hastings, North Island As a Timber Machinist, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality timber products and ensuring customer requirements are met. Reporting to the Drymill & Kiln Manager, you will be responsible for operating the planer, GoldenEye grading system, and other machinery across the Drymill safely and efficiently to achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards. This is a hands‑on position where you'll be encouraged to contribute ideas and support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, productivity, quality, and overall operational performance. This role operates on a rotating shift roster, with employees working one week on each shift: Day Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm Night Shift: 10:00pm – 6:00am This role is based at our Whirinaki site, located just 15 minutes north of Napier. About you You are a qualified Timber Machinist with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
