We're looking for an experienced Technical Salesperson with estimating and quoting skills to join our team and play a key role in both developing client relationships and preparing accurate product estimates. We are a well-established, growing company supplying a premium product to the building/construction and interior fit-out industry, as well as directly to home/business owners. Our reputation has been built on technical expertise, exceptional service and delivering quality workmanship across a wide variety of residential and commercial projects. About the Role This is a varied job combining client relationship management, sales, and estimating. You'll work closely with other trades and the wider team, ensuring your clients are well looked after from enquiry through to installation. New business development and sales experience is absolutely key to this role being successful, as is the ability to manage existing high-level accounts with excellent communication skills, understanding your clients needs and retaining their business in a highly competitive market. You will need to keep your finger on the pulse at all times and know where to hunt out new opportunities. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and maintaining strong client relationships Identifying new business opportunities Reviewing plans and specifications Preparing detailed quotations and estimates Assisting with tender submissions Providing technical advice and product recommendations Working closely with production and operations teams Managing projects from enquiry through to handover Ensuring projects are accurately priced and commercially viable About You You may currently be working as a: Technical Sales Consultant Construction Estimator Client-facing Quantity Surveyor Interior Fit-Out Estimator Building Products Sales Representative Architectural Products Consultant Kitchen Designer Joinery Estimator To succeed in this role you'll have: Experience within relevant industries as above Sales and account management skills The ability to interpret plans and specifications Strong estimating and quotation skills Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities A solutions-focused approach and strong attention to detail A genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service Experience with estimating software or ERP systems would be advantageous, but is not essential.
