Man O'War Bay Vineyard – Auckland, North Island A great opportunity to come and join the growing Man O' War tourism team. Located at the very Eastern end of stunning Waiheke Island is Man O' War Tourism currently offering the Zipline ride and Stony Batter Tunnels experiences. The Man O’ War Zipline is located in the Kauri forest above Man O’ War Bay. The Zipline experience includes a zipline ride and guided 2-hour tour through native forest. Stony Batteris a historic, defense, installation. It is sited within a 50-acre (200,000 m2) scenic reserve of the same name, owned by the New Zealand Department of Conservation (DOC). The park serves double duty as a historical (Category 1 Historic Place) and nature reserve, containing unusual rock formations, associated with an extinct volcano, three significant bush blocks and three concrete gun emplacements with an extensive tunnel system, reputed to be the largest in New Zealand. As a Man O' War Tourism Guide you will join our fun and enthusiastic Tourism team. The main function of our guide roles, in addition to ensuring each guest tour is safe, is to create an unforgettable experience that each customer will remember and talk about for years. Tourism Guides must be good story tellers and use excellent communication skills to engage with each guest and ensure an exceptional time is experienced by everyone. As a full-time role (Minimum 32 hours/week), the intent is to support your career into an ongoing senior position to help develop and shape the future of the growing Man O' War Adventure Tourism team. Man O' War Tourism will be operating 7 days/week over the busy summer season, dropping to 5 days and reduced operation hours over winter. Rostered days of work, and start and finish times, can vary depending on work variability and business, tourism and seasonal demands. Hours of work will generally be between 08:00 and 6:00pm.
