Driving Instructor

The NZ Howard League for Penal Reform – Taupo, North Island The NZ Howard League for Penal Reform is a registered charity. Working alongside Community Corrections, Courts, Police and Prisons, we help justice-involved people to become legal drivers, moving them off the pathway to prison and into employment. We currently have 24 Instructors around the country and have helped thousands of Kiwis get their licence back or even achieve it for the first time. Come join our fantastic team and help us change people’s lives. We are looking for a fully qualified driving instructor, or someone with compassion who we can train, to assist our clients to pass Learners, Restricted and Full driving tests (and more). We are looking for an energetic, good natured, responsible individual to work as our Instructor in this extremely rewarding mahi that covers You must have: clean police record the ability to pass the NZTA medicalcertificate the ability to work autonomously with excellent time management skills be self-motivated high level of integrity a kind heart, patience, and empathy sound judgement and a good work ethic the flexibility to travel outside of the area occasionally the ability to get on with people from backgrounds.
