Industrial Electrician - Process Automation and Project Installation DMI Electrical Engineering Ltd - Rotorua, North Island As an Industrial Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment across our projects. Your expertise in electrical systems, safety protocols, and problem-solving will contribute to the successful execution of our projects and the overall operational excellence of the business. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in compliance with relevant codes and standards Collaborate with project teams to plan and execute electrical installations, ensuring optimal system functionality Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, and implement timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime Work on-site during projects, collaborating with other team members to install and test electrical systems and equipment Perform maintenance tasks both on-site and in the workshop to keep electrical systems operating efficiently Adhere to all safety guidelines, regulations, and protocols to ensure a safe working environment Conduct regular safety assessments, identify potential hazards, and take corrective actions to prevent accidents Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance activities Create detailed reports on work performed, including equipment status, maintenance schedules, and any issues identified Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate electrical work and project timelines About you Trade qualification or relevant certification in Industrial Electrical work Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician, preferably in construction or related industries Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and safety protocols Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Knowledge of relevant codes and regulations #J-18808-Ljbffr
