Carpet Cleaning & Restoration Technician

ChemDry Hawkes Bay – Onekawa, North Island Carpet Cleaning and Restoration Technician Chem-Dry Hawke's Bay We're looking for a practical, reliable person to join our small team as a Carpet Cleaning and Restoration Technician. Our work is about more than cleaning – we help people recover after unexpected events and we take pride in providing a professional service that makes a real difference. No two days are the same. One day you may be cleaning carpets or upholstery, the next responding to flood damage, setting up drying equipment, or helping customers get their homes and businesses back to normal after an unexpected event. Full training will be provided, although experience in cleaning, restoration, construction, or a practical trade would be an advantage. About the role You’ll work both independently and alongside other technicians carrying out: Carpet and upholstery cleaning Structural drying Flood recovery work Equipment setup and monitoring General cleaning and restoration services The work is physical and can occasionally involve lifting equipment, working in confined spaces, and responding to after-hours emergency callouts. Experience is helpful, but attitude is what matters most—we can teach the skills.
