Job Description

Are you a skilled Fabricator Welder looking for a role that offers variety and hands-on work? We're looking for an experienced tradesperson to join our client and take on a mix of workshop fabrication and on-site projects. This is not a production-line role - you'll be involved in building, fabricating, and installing quality steelwork from start to finish. The role is approximately 80% fabrication and 20% welding, working with mild and structural steel to create and install a range of projects. You'll need to be confident with MIG and Stick welding in all positions, have strong fabrication skills, and be comfortable working both in the workshop and out on site. The ability to read drawings and produce accurate, quality workmanship is essential. From time to time, you may also assist with deliveries and supporting the wider team when required. Location - Mt Wellington Our requirements: Minimum 3 years experience as a fabricator/welder Experienced in the relevant welding techniques - MIG/Stick (all positions) Confident working with a Mild/Structural Steel Can read and implement plans You must have FULL working rights in New Zealand Preferred but not essential: Valid welding tickets Ability to drive a class 1 manual vehicle Who Are We?
