Alignz Recruitment – Waikato District, North Island Experienced in spray painting, refinishing, or surface preparation? We’re looking for a Pre Paint Prepper to join a leading construction equipment company, preparing and refinishing heavy machinery before it reaches customers. This role is ideal for someone from an industrial spray painting, automotive refinishing, marine, fabrication, or heavy equipment background who takes pride in producing quality finishes. The Role: Prepare heavy machinery for painting and refinishing Complete sanding, masking and surface preparation Carry out minor repairs and finishing work Repair imperfections before paint application Assist with disassembly and reassembly of components Maintain paint booth, equipment and tooling Support the refinishing team with workshop projects Ensure machinery is presented to a high standard You’ll Be Working On: Excavators Wheel Loaders Rollers Telehandlers Skid Steers Construction & Earthmoving Equipment We’re Looking For: Previous experience in spray painting, paint preparation, or refinishing Experience with industrial, automotive, marine, or machinery painting Strong sanding, masking, and surface preparation skills High attention to detail and pride in workmanship Ability to work safely and efficiently within a workshop environment Ideal Backgrounds: Industrial Spray Painter Automotive Spray Painter Marine Painter Paint Prepper Panel Beater Assistant Refinishing Technician Fabrication Painter What’s On Offer: Permanent full-time role Modern workshop facilities Variety of machinery and projects Medical insurance KiwiSaver Full PPE provided Opportunity to grow within a successful NZ-owned company Based in Auckland and open to relocating outside Auckland for the right permanent opportunity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
