About the Role Join a well-established educational institution as a Sports Facilities Officer and support the daily operations of sports and recreational facilities. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who enjoy an active work environment and ensuring facilities are safe, clean and ready for use. Key Responsibilities Open and close sports facilities according to operational schedules Conduct daily inspections of facilities and sports equipment Monitor the proper use of sports facilities and ensure safety compliance Report maintenance issues and liaise with relevant departments or vendors Manage access cards, keys and facility access Maintain sports equipment and inventory records Support day-to-day operations and facility upkeep Prepare basic maintenance and inspection reports Assist during emergency situations and adverse weather when required Requirements Minimum Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma Comfortable with a hands-on operational role Capable of performing physical tasks to move sports equipment when required Basic Microsoft Office skills Able to communicate well in English First Aid Certificate is an advantage (or willing to obtain one before commencement) Working Hours Rotating Shift (Rostered) Morning Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Afternoon Shift: 3:30 PM - 10:30 PM Alternate Saturdays (rostered) Sunday & Public Holidays Off Shift assignments are rostered by the supervisor; employees cannot choose their preferred shift.
