Practice Nurse .8 FTE (32 hours, flexible days) – Dunedin Why this role is different No shift work, no weekends Predictable hours with flexibility across your 32-hour week Small, collaborative team where your contribution is valued Ongoing professional development and support About the role This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll work closely with our specialists across a range of services including: Gastroenterology and endoscopy Colorectal, general surgery and bariatrics Plastics and gynaecology You’ll be involved in: Pre-admission assessments and patient preparation Clinical support during consultations and procedures Patient education and follow-up care Managing results and coordinating care Supporting smooth patient flow across clinics While your primary focus will be supporting our specialist consulting clinics, you'll also have the opportunity to work alongside our endoscopy and day surgery teams, assisting with patient admissions and providing nursing support as required. No two days are quite the same. What we’re looking for Registered Nurse with a current APC Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience Strong assessment and communication skills A team-focused approach and the ability to work across disciplines Enjoys variety and is happy working across consulting, endoscopy and day surgery environments Confidence with clinical systems and documentation Experience in practice nursing, gastroenterology, or surgical settings is a bonus, but not essential.
