Specifically, the Fellow will contribute to research focusing on the use of reflective nudges, human-computer interaction (HCI), and AI-driven deliberation platforms to foster thoughtful civic discourse. Responsibilities Conduct innovative research on enhancing online deliberation platforms using AI platforms and HCI methodologies. Design, develop, and evaluate user-centered digital platforms aimed at promoting civic deliberation on topics like online harmful content. Engage in qualitative and quantitative research, including user studies, usability testing, thematic analysis, and experimental designs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate insights from HCI, computational social science, policy studies, and communication research. Qualifications Ph.D. in Information Systems Technology and Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Communication, or related fields. Proven research record with publications in reputable conferences and journals (e.g., CHI, CSCW). Strong methodological skills in qualitative (e.g., ATLAS.ti) and quantitative (e.g., R, Stata) research techniques.
