As our Patient Care Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for every individual who walks through our doors. Your contributions will directly impact patients' lives, helping them see the world in a whole new way. A Day in the Life: Your week will be a dynamic mix of patient interaction and essential administrative tasks. Your role will involve: Patient Connection: Create a positive first impression by warmly greeting patients, answering their questions with empathy and care, and ensuring they feel comfortable and supported throughout their visit. Manage incoming patient calls and emails, scheduling appointments, and providing helpful information. Clinic Flow: Collaborate with the clinical team to plan efficient clinic schedules and operating lists, ensuring a seamless patient flow. This includes coordinating patient appointments, managing referrals, and preparing necessary documentation. Administrative Support: Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely billing. Provide essential support to other team members, contributing to the smooth operation of the clinic. You'll be using Google Workspace and other cloud-based software. Team Collaboration: Be an active and valued member of our team, participating in team meetings and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment. What We're Looking For: While experience in a patient-facing role, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting, is helpful, it's not essential. We're happy to train the right person! Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for patient care. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment. A positive, empathetic, and proactive attitude, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence. Being a quick learner with attention to detail is crucial. IT and tech savviness is a definite bonus. Proficiency in appointment scheduling software would be advantageous but not essential. Why Join Our Team?
