Job Description

The Senior Administrator is responsible for providing high-level administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the business. This role oversees day to day office administration, supports management, coordinates administrative processes, and assists with financial, HR and operational tasks. The Senior Administrator plays a key role in maintaining professional standards, improving systems, and ensuring deadlines are met. Key responsibilities: Office Administration: Manage the day-to-day administrative functions of the business Develop and maintain office systems and procedures Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations and business documents Maintain accurate records and filing systems Coordinate meetings, travel and company events Process accounts payable and receivable Assist with payroll preparation and liase with payroll providers Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports Assist with budgeting and expense monitoring Support external accountants with month end and year end requirements Human Resources Support Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new employees Maintain employee records and documentation Coordinate training and compliance requirements Support managers with HR administration and employment documentation Operational Support Monitor and improve administrative processes Coordinate suppliers, contractors, and office resources Assist with health and safety administration Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legislation Customer Service Provide professional service to clients, suppliers and staff Respond to enquiries promptly and effectively Build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Key Skills and Experience Proven experience in a senior administrative role Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Advanced Microsoft Office skills Experience with accounting and payroll software is desirable Ability to work independently and prioritise competing demands Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities Professional, confidential and reliable Qualifications Relevant business administration qualification preferred Minimum of five years administration experience Experience in payroll, finance or HR administration is an advantage Personal Attributes Honest and trustworthy Positive and proactive attitude Flexible and adaptable Committed to continuous improvement Able to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement Performance Measures Accuracy and timeliness for administrative work Effective support provided to management and staff Compliance with company policies and legislative requirements Efficient operation of office systems Positive feedback for internal and external stakeholders #J-18808-Ljbffr
