This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, being part of a close knit crew, and contributing to the construction and maintenance of roads and infrastructure throughout the region. About the Role As a Class 2 Driver, you will play a key role in supporting asphalt paving and road maintenance operations. This is a hands on position that combines driving responsibilities with general labouring and asphalt work on site. Key responsibilities include: Operating Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently Supporting asphalt paving, resurfacing, and maintenance activities Assisting with site preparation, traffic management support, and site clean up Loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment Working alongside paving crews to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently Maintaining high health and safety standards at all times What We Are Looking For To be successful in this role, you will have: Full New Zealand Class 2 Driver Licence Previous asphalt paving or road surfacing experience Experience working within the civil construction or infrastructure sector A strong commitment to workplace health and safety Good level of physical fitness and ability to undertake manual tasks Reliable, hardworking attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Flexibility to work additional hours when required to meet project demands What's in It for You?
