Payroll Administrator

We're looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator who takes pride in getting the details right and understands the important role payroll plays in the employee experience. Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, you'll be part of a collaborative and supportive team responsible for delivering end-to-end payroll services across the MOVE Logistics Group. This is an opportunity to make a real impact while continuing to develop your payroll expertise in a complex and dynamic business. What you’ll be doing: Processing end-to-end payroll activities accurately and on time. Ensure payroll is compliant with employment agreements, legislation, and company policies. Maintaining accurate employee records and payroll data. Provide responsive support and advice to employees, managers, HR, and Finance teams. Assist with payroll reporting, audits, system testing, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support IRD filings, ACC administration, KiwiSaver and superannuation obligations, and year end payroll processes. Help identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the payroll experience for our people. What we’re looking for: Payroll experience, ideally within a medium to large organisation, with a solid understanding of payroll processes and legislation. Strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy. Confidence working with payroll systems, Excel, and technology generally. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. High levels of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential information.
